If he had run him you'd have a point. Schenn was clearly trying to score a goal and his ass caught Murray because Murray leaned forward. By that standard Hornqvist runs a goalie every single game. I normally agree with you but this is a massive overreaction on your part.

Please point me to ONE play this year where Hornqvist has skated through the head of the opposing goalie.

Murray was completely in his crease. Schenn hit him and the principle point of contact was the head. There was a rule posted earlier saying a goal here would have been disallowed. You are not allowed to contact a goalie like this while he's in his crease, regardless of your intentions.

If a nuke was dropped on CEC during Game 1...you'd have cockroaches and Kunitz left standing.

Far be it from me to critique your being redundant. I can only assume your fingers need the exercise. :D

I should go back and find my comments on Kuhnhackl just so I can eat crow. Glad I was wrong. Sheary has really come into his own lately. Playing like a kid that REALLY wants to be on that playoff roster...and he's making an excellent case.

That hunger and energy is something we've missed since 07-09.

Agreed 100%. The hunger and desperation this team has shown has been unreal. They never feel out of a game.

I always had faint hope for Kuhnhackl. But I am wrong about everything else all the time, so I won't brag about this solely nationally motivated bit of blind squirrel work.

Yeah. The only guys I personally had any hope for were Rust, Sundqvist and Kuhn (a distant third). Sheary and Wilson have turned out to be great additions in a pinch.

The WBS kids have gone way above and beyond. It feels great to have hungry, young players in the lineup.

Sullivan said, "we have no update, but for precautionary reasons Zats is going to finish the game"

In other words, "we have no update on his status, but no matter what the doctors says, Murray is done"
