GDT: Game #82: Oilers @ Sharks - 8:30 PM - SNW/SN1

Cool, Couture out to shake hands. I know he isn't well-liked here but seems like a nice dude. Happy retirement to him (should have won a Cup one of the McLellan years)

I don't know if it's just me but I think Perry is much more effective playing on the first powerplay unit than Hyman.

He has better hands and much better hockey sense while having the same net front presence Hyman has.
This season he seems better. But we're talking some pretty legend hands around the net. Perry still knows how to score, was robbed a couple times. Almost got his 20 tonight. A bunch of forwards we have should be ashamed a 40yr old has outscored them. Arvid was shit again in this game.

nice to see Couture

That dude was such a beast in the playoffs. I’ll never forget that game 7 against Vegas when Pavelski got injured and the Sharks scored 4 goals on the major PP (2 from Couture) his 2nd goal was so sick, the roof blew off that building

No way. Janmark scored 2 goals in 80 games? o_O Just reviewing some of the amazing underachieving this season.

Come on Mattias. You never go full 2023/24 Connor Brown. Actually brown managed 4 last year.

Wonder if he can play in the playoffs if they make it?
I don't know for sure, but you would have to think so? I mean the only reason he can't suit up (only if needed) for the Oilers is they didn't have him on their reserve list at the deadline (for obvious reasons)

And I don't know if the same rules apply to the AHL
I'd have a hard time believing that, because they're always losing guys to the NHL and the AHL team can sign players themselves, but you might be right. Like Pitlick who they just signed to ATO because they didn't have enough players lol.
