I don't know why he gets dunked on by fans here so much. He is an ideal bottom pairing guy who can and has stepped into a top 4 role, on his off side no less, and performed pretty admirably. Local guy, great skater, and relatively reliable.

Worth all the assets and money paid, he's been just great as an Oiler.

Maybe, I doubt it though, he skates well enough and has enough skill to fit with guys out, with a healthy roster he'll have a tough time being a regular, imo.

I'm not a fan of his but he's a depth player. It isn't a big deal. If he does bad he can be replaced quickly.
