Koivunen does pretty good work along the boards.

His game reminds me of Jake's. Not sure if he has his scoring touch, but his iq is similar. Could be a really, really good player.

This Caps team isn’t winning anything. And yeah I know, team take it easy in their last game when there’s nothing to play for…but they don’t even look competitive. Maybe OV finally scoring that goal took the wind out of their sails because they look listless. A true contender doesn’t play like this against a rival. Even in a meaningless game.

Maybe so concerned about giving up a good chance to 8 that it’s taken him a bit off his game? Dunno but that was his worst period in a Pens uniform.

Honestly I'll take looking good and somehow losing over just laying over and taking it from a Caps team that is barely trying...especially if Buffalo is beating Philadelphia.

I can't bring myself to root for a loss, but a loss and a Sabres win will not ruin my evening. A loss and Sabres loss would probably sour the evening a bit, however.


Plus if we were winning this game the way that first period looked...c'mon, we all know Washington would start throwing hits to try to get some sort of pulse ahead of the playoffs.
