I started cheering since I thought he had scored. I was actually shocked that it didn't go in. Agreed, he's definitely not 100% right now.

You think we'd be favourites in any shape or form in any series of the playoffs? Making the playoffs in itself is the goal, any kind of run would be miraculous, it's all about gaining the experience of it. Even if swept.

Also if we get in and don't have to play until Monday that would gave us a nice 4 day break, and time to actually get a real practice in or 2. Both would be greatly useful.

Part of me almost wishes Canes iced their regular lineup, we’ve shit the bed in many so called easy matchups and then surprisingly beat tough opponents. Really hoping MSL has them fired up and ready to play a complete 60 mins regardless of who is dressed for this one.

There’s also a part of me that secretly hopes the Canes throw the game so they don’t risk facing a Jackets team on a heater in the 2nd round.

CBJ will benefit from Roy not wanting to do us any favors tomorrow. Carolina are playing their starter who is excellent and if he decides to shut the door, he can Halak us. Pitch a 50 shot shutout... Greaves is killing us, Why not this guy too? Plus, there's something off with the roster story IMO.

Normally, I’d say yes, but they’ve been wearing him out. Almost 27:00 last game!

I’m looking at special teams to finally step up, esp vs a replacement level opponent. Teamwork so important on those units. Maybe they can capitalize.

Could have had a week off if they put in more of an effort on Monday.

Last time they backed into the playoffs they ended up going to the finals.
Totally different team but really, everyone knows they're playing with house money and wants to see some exciting playoff hockey. Team's been streaky as hell all year and could start playing electric hockey again out of nowhere and if they don't, I don't think anyone will be all that heartbroken.

Hey don't get me wrong i know it's fair game for teams already assured of their position to be resting players.......just saying that if i was a CBJ fan i would be pissed that's all.

I'm confident they will tonight, but then again....was confident before monday's game too so.

The only thing we can do is cheering for them to succeed.

I suspect they will struggle in the first round, but the experience will still be better than not playing the games.
