Do they really? I mean we have Suzuki, CC, Laine (presumably awesome on PP), Hutson, Guhle and Slaf when he wants to. And now Demidov. Do CBJs really have more talent? Or is it something else?
They don't. Both teams have promising young talent, but Habs may have a more balanced/dynamic roster, especially with the addition of Ivan Demidov and the awesome season of Lane Hutson. Their goaltending is also generally more stability compared to the Blue Jackets, regardless of the Montembeault bananas here and there - hopefully, he doesn't play like shit tonight.

Adam Fantilli
Boone Jenner
Kiril Marchenko
Mathieu Olivier - Punishing forward who can fight and play
Dimitri Voronkov

Warenski
Provorov
Fabbro

Greaves - Kid is on fire right now

Very similar, I think they are better coached (Dean Evason) and I believe this is what's making the difference!
What stood out yesterday is how calmly they were executing plays and defending.

Yes, send cookies.

Habs are still rebuilding and Monahan's peak will not align with when this team will be at its best. It was logical to trade him.
WTF where did I say it wasn't logical? I was just pointing out what a stud he still is.

We always seem to play to our opponents level. We get up for tough teams and play crap vs shit teams....why?
“Oh yeah. It wasn’t an optional practice, we just gave some rest time to our vets. But yeah, they’re actually playing… No, nothing personal… Besides you’re the one that tried to hurt our organization starting this offer sheets business ….”

The problem on our PP is that everyone in the rink knows what the Habs are attempting to set up. There's nothing tried other than that (most times.. last game they got really lucky in that the whole right side opened up after Caufield almost gave it away on the boards) so all PKers do is swarm Hutson and Nick until they force a pass to Laine for a sharp angle shot.

Slaf has to be taking it to the net and trying to score. Doing it once or twice will force PKers to cover him or try to stop it, opening up others. He won't though. He passes every single time without fail, doesn't even look to the net.
Slaf still plays like such a p*ssy when he has the puck. He will eventually improve in that area but man is it ever frustrating
