Well at least Beck is speedy enough and brings energy to be really useful on a 4th line. That's not the case with Kapanen.

Beck was by far the most effective call up from my POV. He brought energy he created a bunch of chances he brought far more pace and was very responsible defensively. I didn't think he deserved to get sent back down when he did and it affected him. I hope we see the Beck we saw in the first half of the season in the playoffs.

I am pretty convinced that he is not in the team's future plans. I see Beck passing him up. Neither Beck nor Kapanen will be anything special however.

Both will be traded. Hot take from me.

Do they really? I mean we have Suzuki, CC, Laine (presumably awesome on PP), Hutson, Guhle and Slaf when he wants to. And now Demidov. Do CBJs really have more talent? Or is it something else?
