I get the sense they are out of juice. For most of the season, the habs were getting scored on first and coming back all the time. The last few games, i thought they came out way stronger in the first.. but then couldnt hold the lead.

They have been playing high stress hockey for a while now, and it's showing. Carolina is protecting a few players tonight for the playoffs, but that will still be a tough fight between stress free / refreshed players and tired players that have been playing their season for several weeks now.
If they are out of gas now, they have been for 3 months. The slow starts in games and hoping to get bailed out by a goalie is nothing new and has been going on for way too long.

f*** these perfidious backstabbers! f*** Eric Cole too!

ooh la la, someone went to Harvard

So, they did not have 5-6 regulars on the ice today.............means squat to me.

Expect their best........their owner would love to win this game...
Don’t think their owner should care. He should want his main guys to be healthy against a Devils team with no Hughes.

Plus his gripe should be with Bergevin. Or even himself because then he pushed for a KK offersheet which has basically blown up in his face.

We have no excuses. If we lose tonight we do not deserve to make it into the playoffs and we should all rightly be disappointed in the collapse.

Once our emotions have regulated and we reflect on the season we will realize that we overshot most of our predictions anyways.

Thats the same as hearing "I like fish" as "I like piss". Meaning that theres no way to hear it incorrectly. MSL has an issue with his ego. No one tells him what to do. If someone tries, and even if he knows it would be the right way, he sticks to what he has decided.
lol all coaches act that way. Have you been hiding under a rock the last 100 years?

You are assuming the owner is logical. He may not be. He probably forced Waddell to go after KK.

You are a good poster but Savard didn't deserve that level of disrespect. 800+ games, Cup winner. I still remember that shift against Buffalo with one skate blade blocking Tage Thompson shots. That guy deserves respect.

I can remember one good play from every player in history , including Steve Begin. Savard doesn't get my tears, he's over his head and should have been sat 5 games ago for some rest. Here's the kicker, he may have had some value if the coach planned his ice time and gave him some games off, but here we are. The guy is spent, he's not doing anything out there to help us get into the playoffs at this point. And then, say we make the playoffs, he's going to let us down because he is DONE

If we lose tonight, I'm taking a few days off this board. There's no way I'm subjecting my mind or soul into absorbing the repugnant moronic toxicity that's sure to follow.

I'd rather walk away head up high and healthy, knowing this team has given us far more than we could have expected. It's been a great season, tonight, as disappointing as it will be with a loss, won't change that.

Go Habs!
If they lose, I consult the trade thread for rumours and the draft weekend thread prior to it.

The rest will be noise from fans.

I didn’t go to Harvard, I’m just very versed in knowing double-crossers and quislings like the Canes organization. Brindamour is playing his son, am I the only one finding this shady!?!😡

They’re trying to f*** us.
Quislings?

Double shift these guys
There is no use double shifting Suzuki if he's lethargic. Full time PP is one thing but if you do that you absolutely have to have someone else lug the puck. Our PP success is directly tied to how well Suzuki is moving his feet and interchanging in the zone.
