I know a segment of the board wanted Toronto over Tampa.

Welp, you got your wish.

I was not among that contingent, more worried about the bad habits over the last several games that seem much more than disinterest and semi-tanking. Anything can happen including losing to the Leafs in Round 1 which would make for a long and painful summer.

Not so sure about that, Swayman was really good against TO this year and played as well as Ullmark in his last few games.

Toronto can beat them but Bruins goaltending is so better than Toronto's.

They had better show up against TO, they literally tanked 5 of the last 6 periods to get to play them.

I wish I believed that was deliberate tanking, it would make me feel better. But it wasn’t, just disorganized and disinterested.

Playing down to get a certain team to face a team in the playoffs is a recipe for disaster.
Always play to win, it sets a better precedent, just saying!.

Two terrible efforts to end the season, felt like they weren't really trying. Not going to judge until we see what they look like Game 1 though. At least they're relatively healthy going into the playoffs.

And how good has Bruins goaltending been the last two years in the playoffs? I was on the Ullmark train but just a hunch I would go with Swayman in game 1 .

I’m judging! LED the division most of the year and gave it away in the last 2 games due to piss poor effort and no urgency to win until it was too late.

Yep , I will likely have the Leafs Sportsnet announcers . I will have them muted for the entire series .

If they had planned to lay eggs in the last two games to have an easier first round opponent, that is one thing. This looks like a team trending in the wrong direction.

He better get this right after last year's playoff coaching fiasco. That was a once in a lifetime team. His team played the last 2 games as if they wanted TO, let's see it.
