Goalies are weird. The normal laws don't apply to them. Obviously his play has been far from ideal. But he could be amazing next year. I mean his outstanding playoff performance was less than 12 months ago. If he can quickly fall, it stands to reason that he can perhaps equally quickly rise back up.

Hmmmm what more likely? His play in these last 58 games with a dumpster fire in front of him is what he is......or he's had a down year and is more likely to be closer to what he was for the first 132+ games of his career.

The only time I've ever come close to cheering against the Bruins was
when Chris Nilan played for them. And I wasn't actually cheering
against the Bruins...I was cheering against Nilan and FOR whoever
took him on. Nilan will forever be a hated Hab for me.
