Don't think he's that bad, but certainly my hope of him being a consistent depth goal scorer is nearing its end

Come on. Second year pro, going through some struggles. I'm not saying he's absolutely turning this around but to give up on him is premature. He does have his work cut out for him now with the prospects coming through but don't count him out yet.

That said, just saw the replay of the goal, where he glides to the bench instead of hustling back to cover Williams. Urgh.

Vatrano is a one trick pony. If he doesn't have a good line to feed him passes in the slot/if the slot is clogged up by the defense, he doesn't have much else to offer.

This is his problem. He needs to get better at finding the soft spots, and start working his ass off defensively cos he does a whole lot of nothing most of the time hes on the ice.
