The best part is we were in 1OA for a majority of the year, and our team statistics support that we earned it.

Couldn't agree more, the fact we can finish as the best team in a league where the majority of players don't want to come and play is amazing really. Time for everyone to Realize what the Winnipeg Jets have accomplished this season. Had to get a AC/DC tune in for Luck.

100% agree. This has been an amazing season. I know its time for the tournament soon and some (well most) fans have a playoff or bust mentality but only one team wins the cup each year so if you can’t learn to enjoy the value you get from a non cup winning season then the hobby must kind of suck.
Don’t get me wrong I don’t want this party to end too soon but what a magical ride and I do have allot of pride in winning the division, the Conference, and hopefully the Presidents trophy. If those regular season accomplishments don’t mean anything to you then I hope you don’t think that winning the Vezina, Hart, Norris, Calder, or any of the other regular season awards mean anything to you either. If it’s all about the cup then the only individual award that matters is the Conn Smythe Trophy.
Either way of course I would love to see a deep playoff run too but when the smoke clears this will have been the best NHL Jets team in 1.0 or 2.0 history over 82 games.

Chevy being able to get Arniel the players with one hand tied behind his back and Arniel putting the right systems in place for said players is just a incredible job by both.

We are travelling down a road that yet to be paved while making up history as we go along. This season will be remembered fondly many years from now. No one will remember if we were good men or bad men, why we fought, only that we existed to witness an event that was truly historical in nature.
