You're right, its better to end the season on a huge losing streak leaving the entire team and staff with an awful taste in their mouth for several months all so they can draft 3 spots higher because drafting 10th or 13th is going to make or break this team. Team morale isn't a real thing. The whole team should just roll over and quit as soon as the playoffs are out of reach, nothing better than a group of uncompetitive losers!

Having the ability to still show up and play when all is lost says a lot about individual players and the team itself. How about winning when we were still in it, instead? I'll take that over meaningless victories at the end of the season. Isn't about cheering for losses, it is about where were these wins when it mattered?

I think we would’ve made the playoffs the last two seasons if Lalonde just wasn’t our coach to begin with. He probably cost us 10 points, maybe even more between the past 2 seasons.
