That's not exactly hard, although I'd argue the headlock is actually the safer way to drag someone to the ice because it keeps his head off the ice. It's the 2nd shot that'll get him suspended imho

And the second shot wouldnt hurt a fly.

It barely touched him.

If he gets suspended for that second shot, the league has some explaining to do why Trenin wasnt suspended for punching Forbort in the face.

"I gotta grab Byfields head so it doesn't hit the ice" heh. especially in view of him sticking his head into the ice seconds later.

It won't look well in review. Several angles showing that Nurse locks Byfields head in headlock in first take down, looked like an attempted head slam, then for good measure whacks his head into the ice after whistle. The whole sequence, don't look good, its on Nurse, and he has priors. I can see two games for this.

This is just Darnell Nurse being dumb. Club is full of injuries, were short D, and he does this in a meaningless game. He lost his cool.

Started watching the highseas broadcast at 4-0. That has to be the worst 5-3 PP I've ever seen since the last time the Kings had one.

Kings not showing much scoring wise, but then again I missed the first 4GA. Also the absolute lame 5min advantage.

We haven’t played LA good all year. We are going into a series against an elite home team and we gifted them home ice by how we played them this year.
This game is whatever I just meant overall.
All we did this game was manage to probably get Nurse suspended for Game 1

I'm not saying he did it to protect Byfield. I'm saying I wouldn't suspend someone for a headlock. It looked like a cross check at first and that looked scary to me, but if it were just that first move all I'd call that is a hold. But hitting his head to the ice after is no good. I don't get Nurse. He does this for the playoffs but not the season. They'll give him a playoff game for that.

Why would people specifically buy tickets to this game? Most people in the front rows looked like people that just got tickets to this game. For hundreds of bucks for a ticket why even do that? Lineup announced etc.

Bringing your kids to this game? haha.

This was gonna be a stinker. Guaranteed.
