Maybe not critical, but important. Two points tonight puts a lot of pressure on the Flyers for Saturday.

Will Tampa play their backup to their backup on the second night of a back to back? Gotta think we take this one. I want the Rangers in the first round, badly.

Well the Flyers demonstrated that TB cannot be taken for granted even without Bishop.

We're probably going to get that goalie who put up like 60 saves in that Latvia-Canada olympic game.

So let down after earning our playoff spot? Let's see what they do.

I kind of suspect we'll come out a bit flat after the last two games and this being 4 in 6.

I personally think that we come out flying. Tampa will surely do the same because of their battle for home ice, but I bet this game goes down to the wire. Our guys seem to know that this is the time of year when you want to peak.

Huge game, not so much because I want the Rangers, as much as I don't want the Bruins. If we falter and Detroit jumps us, we are walking into a Bear's den.

tbh, I'd rather face the Penguins than the Rangers based on recent play.

So Gudlevskis gets the call-up? Interesting side-bar if he starts.

I think he'll be the first goalie ever to start a game in both the Olympics, NHL, AHL, and ECHL if he starts tonight.

Edit: Lindback starts.

Very optional morning skate for #tblightning but Salo is skating in a regular jersey; Gudlevskis only goalie, so looks like Lindback starts

Puhlease. Recent play schmecent play. We have handled the Rangers a couple times already. However, when we play Pittsburgh all we do is stand around and admire their so called stars skating ability. We couldn't even beat them the last time when they were missing Malkin and had played the night before.

Wouldn't be surprised but I hope not. We need to win these next two.

Can't say I agree with that decision. Tampa Bay still has lots to play for. Florida doesn't.

I'm surprised McElhinney is getting the start, but it's not the end of the world. If the Jackets can score they will win.

Team obviously doesn't care about winning games.

I'm good with it. CMac's been playing well, Bob gets an extra break.

A little surprised with the decision, based on that report from the spin dude moderator. But no matter how it turns out, I agree with the decision.

I'm good with a McBackup .vs. whatever backup TB throws at us. Game plan is the same: Stamkos.

I am not happy with Mac starting. He still gives up too many choice rebounds. But there could be something going on that Richards knows about of which we are not aware. So we will see what happens.

Not to mention what we have to play for. Hell, Bob had yesterday off. If anything, I'd sit him tomorrow against Florida rather than against TB. We'll see.
