This team can be accused of Tanking for a better draft pick, but they really do look bad. I mean it's fun to see Celebrini and Smith and Calgary is playing desperate, but I don't think the Sharks can help it being bad. I really hope next year they show improvement to being good.

Smith has sucked tonight. He's killing the top line. Coach is doing jack shit about it, Eklund should move up.

Smith's effectiveness dramatically declines when the team gets behind and the other team plays more defensively. He cannot impact the game physically and keeps trying low percentage plays.

This time, instead of continuing the path of my Frog of Darkness, I've picked up one of my older characters, an Enchanter, the game's masters of illusions.



But, the fun with Enchanters is that not everything is as it seems. So I'm not actually another frog...

How many empty net goals have the Sharks given up this season? They must lead the league in that category by a wide margin. I wonder what Mack's +- would be if you take away the empty net goals. I think the Sharks have only scored a couple of goals with their net empty and have given up like 30+.

Already happened. The worst part was, he kept on whining about Jumbo Joe the entire time he was trying to concuss me!

This game showed why Kovalenko isn't any sort of answer. He is ineffective against size and physicality. Couple that with Smith who struggles against size and physicality, and the line couldn't get anything done.

Like, guys, we traded half the team away, a bunch of the guys left are injured, our goalies are a rookie and that fish that sings Don’t Worry Be Happy… what is the expectation here? Our only NHL defenseman is Liljegren and the ghost of Vlasic and Rutta.

Be happy that this team has been as fun as it has this year — but don’t expect them to clinch worst place in the league and then somehow magically beat teams fighting for their playoff lives. It’s a miracle we even keep it close.
