Yes, I'm pretty sure "again" just means he'll miss another game rather than his season being over. But HFPenguins loves to make knee-jerk reactions.

Why can’t they return Simon, who’s waiver exempt, and call up Sprong?

He won't be playing again, as in he'll miss another game. You people are taking that to mean his season is over?
By the way, those of you who are scared to death of Murray playing back-to-back - you'd all make really good grandmothers.
He's not a bad player when he's not allowing his fragile masculinity to dictate his decisions on the ice. Not really a 1st liner, but certainly not a useless goon either.how is Wilson a first liner

He has pretty good speed for a guy his size, can chip in offensively from time to time, and he hits like a truck. But again, he's a big dummy who lets the "yer big, hit'um!" thing weasel its way into his brain way too often and it results in a dramatic drop off in actual hockey being played. He's like a Carl Hagelin type at best. Useful as a third wheel anywhere in the lineup, but doesn't really have legitimate top six skill. But you can play him there because he wins battles even if he doesn't score much.
because we only have emergency call-ups left. It's not a roster limit, it's a call-up limit. Sending Simon down wouldn't refund a call-up.Why can’t they return Simon, who’s waiver exempt, and call up Sprong?
The Pens issues on the road are almost exclusively based on them loafing more when away from the home fans... I mean the road effort has been laughable this season... im not sure that will continue in the playoffs... now that they are locked in they should sit anyone with any nagging injury just to be safe.... im not worried about some meaningless 7th game location or a fancy division title...
I wonder how much matchups have to do with it. Getting Sid/Geno out against the right lines is a big advantage we have at home.
That’s not the reason...they tried him once on b2bs this year and he was terrible. Otherwise, he hasn’t played the second game of b2bs all season..no reason to play him now
We’re going to lose this game...Caps just have too much to play for, Ovie’s 1000 game, division title. And Grubauer wants to prove himself the PO starter. I’m expecting us to lose pretty easily...no Brass, Phil should be out if Sully isn’t dumb, b2b, etc...
Fine, let the Caps feel good. This will be their SCF. If we meet them next round, we will prevail again....
If Kessel sits it may force a Hags - Malkin - Rust line, forcing a Guentzel - Crosby- Simon / ZAR line.
Dreams may come true.
I hope so, I like them lines. If Kessel sits it may force a Hags - Malkin - Rust line, forcing a Guentzel - Crosby- Simon / ZAR line.

I really don't get the infatuation with Simon playing with Crosby. The guy is barely an NHLer.
I saw ZAR put there and just agreed. I don't want Simon there either. Not really big on Simon so far. Glad he got some games in and did show some flashes. Definitely not someone who can produce on a 4th like like sheary or rust, but also needs more experience for that.
ZAR should be in top 6 tonight. Need to get him going after that injury
It allows Rust to go to a line to succeed and it keeps Hornqvist with either Malkin, Sheahan or Brassard for depth.
Except you don't give your best player a scrub to play with.
