Kings won't win another game in the regular season.
Wonder what Sutter is gonna do with Carter come playoff time.
Play the heck out of him and expect him to score goals, I guess. Why?
Kings playing like they're the ones out of playoff contention. Tempted to watch a more interesting game between the Sharks and Ducks if they're going to play like this.
If that's true, they won't win the cup. (And probably get eliminated in the 1st round.)
God you are negative.
You're calling him negative, but you think any of our remaining games have playoff implications?
I wouldn't be surprised or upset if we lost all three. The games have been meaningless since we clinched and we've been resting players left and right. And you can see the impact the d has on the offense and breakout tonight.
I'm enjoying this game for comic relief. It's like an exhibition. If you want to see meaningful hockey tonight, flip it over to nbcsn
They all doo...playoffs are in 1 week, if they can't beat 2 teams that aren't even going, how do you expect them to win the cup? I doubt Sutter feels tonights game, or the next 2 are meaningless...

How do you think they will fair vs the Sharks or the Ducks in less than week in a 7 game series if they can't beat the Flames or the Oilers? Be realistic.
If Sutter cared, Kopitar would play ~23 mins, Doughty and Regehr would be in the lineup, and the lines would be rearranged in the 3rd period such that guys like Richards, Carter, Williams, Gaborik, and even Brown would get 18-20 mins each.
Instead, we have our 7-8 dmen dressed and all the forwards will get ~15 mins.
First, our d will be back together for the playoffs. We won't be rolling out Voynov-muzzin, Mitchell-Marty (uh well), and Greene-Campbell. Second, it's pretty clear they "can't beat" these teams because they've been staying on the outside not risking injury and resting guys by spreading out the minutes as well as literally just resting guys. I expect them to win the cup by turning it back up. I agree the intensity is less than ideal but I'd rather they aren't scraping their way in again. Also, look at the top teams records over the last ten--most of them are barely playing .500 hockey while a lot of bubble teams and those jockeying for position are in fire. Coincidence?
I can't watch this game, so I don't even know whos out there, but if either of these 2 teams should be playing like they've given up, it should be Flames...not the Kings.

You're not missing anything. Better off not watching really.
