GDT: Game 80: Habs vs Leafs, April 12th, 7 PM | CBC, SN, TVAS

The NHL and Rogers probably informed the Habs not to have Demidov make his Habs/NHL debut tonight since it's a Saturday night HNIC game vs the Leafs and it might force the entire SN/CBC crew to talk about something other than their precious Leafs all game. :sarcasm:
My (completely made up conspiracy) theory is that the Habs needed to pay off SKA to get Demidov but didn’t want to leave a paper trail, so they ask Amazon Prime to hire Rotenberg’s wife (or son or brother or uncle) as a “consultant” and the Habs agree to wait to start Demidov on Monday night.

Prime gets Ratings
Habs get the player
Rosenberg gets the payoff
No paper trail from Habs to SKA

/end theory

Seriously though… we need a win tonight. Go Habs

There is never an excuse. They get paid millions to play hard every night every shift.

If they played twice a week for the season, I'm pretty certain you would see a better product.

But the fact is that the players and owners would never agree to that lost revenue. It's us consumers who don't seem to care about the quality of the product on a game to game basis, and hand over our cash.

82 games is asinine, and guess what.... we might get more the way the league is talking. A cup winner will likely play over 100 games as it is.

Guys who have a long shelf life in this league are more likely the ones who aren't killing themselves shift in and shift out. They work smart and they master efficiency, but its a tough thing to do because you have to have a real mind for the game. Suzuki is a prime example of a guy who has a great mind.

Should have X in instead of Savard for toughness and Demi instead of Pezz, let him get his feet wet with some PP time and spot duty on the 2nd line, take a bit of pressure off before heading back to Montreal

Suzuki is a prime example.
Armia will be able to play into his 60s

That's what I thought at first, but then he ranked New Jersey 5th but followed that up saying they'll win the first round lol

They're probably facing Carolina in the first round and P.K. has been hating on Carolina for some reason and it's hilarious.

I just think it's overall chances of coming out of the east, not just who's winning the first round.
