GDT: Game 80: Habs vs Leafs, April 12th, 7 PM | CBC, SN, TVAS

Can everyone chill the F*ck out. Habs have a 98% chance of making the playoffs, the best prospect in the league will be on our roster Monday, our young players are developing and we are B*tching. WTF.

Everything MSL does is wrong, he must hate Xhekaj (despite playing him 70 games) Matheson is terrible (he's not, he's basically new petry) Laine is bad.

How is it our board has become more insufferable than when we were tanking.
New Petry .....LMFAO How is that any good ?
People here have been saying the same things even while winning, Savard and any other vet not playing well shouldn't be playing this time of year.

OK Arber may not be a top 4 but he's certainly a very serviceable number 7, something Savard hasn't been now for about 40 games. If MSL is playing him just because he's a vet, then MSL is dumber than we all think because with 3 games to go and having to face Toronto Chicago and Carolina and needing 2 regulations points to squeek in and he's still playing Pezzetta Savard and Armia and benching the likes of Demidov Xhekaj Heineman (assuming he's not inj.) is absolutely nonsensical!

This isn't about playing Xhekaj as much as it's about getting the right people OUT of the lineup!!!!

I doubt we'll see a comparatively rough game from our best players tonight compared to yesterday. Anderson will be sure to bring his A game as he always does against Toronto. I think we got this.

Oilers fan since 06, recently made a new account here after losing my info many years ago. Mind if I jump on the bandwagon?

Always been a fan of Montreal's winger depth. For many years now I was jealous and often trying to pry a couple wingers out of you in trade proposals. Incredibly deep lineup in contrast to Edmonton.

I was really hoping we'd snag Laine, and it looks like you got a great deal on him. Along with Demidov coming in, the group is poised to be an upset opponent.

I thought Guhle was going to be an absolute star. Maybe he still will but how has he looked this season? Loved watching him play earlier on in his career and was oozing potential. Looks like Hutson has come in and stolen the show huh.

Habs have to have the most balanced roster in the league. 11 forwards who are all bonafide, very solid, 0.5 ish ppg players. Depth all the way through. Adding Demidov makes that 12.

Not a fan of the defence core past Hutson. One player who looks absolutely incredible in my limited viewing was Mailloux. Is he expected to be around for the playoffs? If not, how come? Huge, fast skating, highly skilled. Seems like he should've been given more leash from my outside perspective.

Guhle should be a good physical shut down guy who can skate. He's not going to be a star, but someone you can slot from 2-3 quite happily.

I'm not super high on mailloux. If I can use an oiler comparison, he reminds me of Bouchard but I'm not sure if he can outproduce his deficiencies at the nhl level. If the Habs can dangle him for a solid #2 center, I'd be listening. They do have some other names in the defensive pipeline that may not be as sexy but have good to high nhl potential including reinbacher, and engstrom.

You're welcome to visit anytime!

Damn so no Xhekaj and Heineman in again tonight even after that very lacklustre game last night.

Sorry Xhekaj and Heineman, even though it's the 2nd game of a B2B and we played like crap last night I'm still gonna scratch you again tonight and go with the same lineup tonight.

Mailloux isn’t NHL ready IMO. He has great tools but he’s better off finishing the year in Laval and will be a huge part of their playoff run.

Don’t think this coach has a rational thought in his brain. He’s watching his team get absolutely demolished this last week, lucky to get wins against the Preds and Wings but keeps churning out the same lines. Savard needs a break on a back-to-back against the lowly Preds but somehow not against the insane firepower of the Leafs? There’s zero logic.
bruh i think you should become an NHL coach. show em all how it's done
