GDT: Game 80: Habs vs Leafs, April 12th, 7 PM | CBC, SN, TVAS

I might not be an expert in jet lag but in KHL, there is 8 hours difference between the SKA and Vladivostok and 4 hours with others.. Do team take a 1 week rest before playing there? And what about at the Olymppic or World Championship?? Do players arrive there a week earlier?

And people do not sleep well before begining a new job, I am sure Demidov will sleep better after his 1st game. Right now, his sleep must be short no matter what.

Yeah. Citing team acclimatization for him not playing is an acceptable excuse. Jet lag as an excuse is B.S.

He's fresher than his teammates who have been battling for their lives over the last month.

Not good. Not showing up last night was unacceptable. I really hope we aren’t looking at that game as the reason we missed the playoffs. Can the Habs lose the next 3? Absolutely.
Yep. Gotta lock it up fast.

I can’t help but envision all this premature celebrating and we just end up missing it by some freak occurrence.

I really hope we win tonight to soften the blow on the Columbus.

Columbus has had a tough year. I would have loved for them to make the playoffs with us, but not over us. If we win after their team puts up a performance like they have today - fans and the team can hold their heads high. It would be so much more upsetting for them to go out on a bad loss.

And f*** man, I still love Monahan. He wasn't here long, but talk about a player who just plays the game for the love of it.

Are they choosing the Jackets over the Habs for round 1? :shakehead
Top teams rest their players and just don't want injuries before the playoffs. That's why the Habs' best shot is the last game of the season against the Canes.
