A great coach once said it was crucial "not screw up the good ones". Its too bad because Lohrei looks screwed up right now (in the head), nothing like early season, and its just too bad he couldn't have been spared being thrown into the fire and sent to Providence like Poitras.

Well, you have some valid points, but remember, the fans loved this kid, he belongs the PP, and trade McAvoy, you the usual stuff, and they did the same with Poitras, the kid hadn't basted enough, he should play on this line, with this guy, trade this guy we have Poitras now. The Bruins have shown an inability to draft, but even more so an inability to develop, case in point and I know he has not played a lot yet, but Minton got drafted from a different organization, but to me he just as more hockey sense and awareness out there, I hope I am not jumping this kids' bandwagon to soon, but he really interests me more than any young player's the Bruins have.

Bruins don't control who gets the stars at home. That's voted on by the media. Swayman has been awful but surprisingly " fine " at home.

Man. Lohrei better show some D improvement next year. Absolute zero physical play.

I personally don’t care if he’s physical because he brings offensive skill, but for crying out loud, learn positioning and cover passing lanes with your stick! The guy’s coverage is terrible. He also hasn’t developed good judgment for when to pinch vs. when to get back.

I'm glad they started playing Lindholm with Pasta and Geekie. Because, why not? Nothing to lose in creating some chemistry between your highly paid and supposed #1C and your 2 best forwards.

Also glad that they're giving ice time to young players like Minten, Lysell and Duran. Let them grow their games and see what we got.

Geekie - Lindholm - Pastrnak will likely be the top line next season. They look good together now.

The team needs all the talent it can get. Talent can't be taught. Lohrei will continue to improve, possibly benefitting from a shakeup of the coaching staff, and Swayman will bounce back next season, after a much-needed summer reset. The talent is there, we've seen it; he just needs to come into next season with new mindset.

I'd also like to see Lohrei getting deployments and minutes that are better suited to his skills and developmental stage. He's been chucked in the deep end here and it's not surprising he is struggling.
