I just hate the hyping of any player. Call the game, talk about strategy. Sure mention Crosby, Malken, Pasta, ... every now and then but it's over the top.

winning three cups and being an all time player in history will do that. Guy is 36 with 40+ goals, deserves all the accolades he gets....

I'm not good at making my point.
I agree he is probably top 5 all time or close to it. I just hate the announcers saying how great he is while not saying why he (or anyone for that matter) is great. Is it his IQ? why his IQ? vision, backchecking, positioning, shot, passing, conditioning, ...? they never elaborate. just that he is great.

Goes back to Jordan days. Baseball, Hockey, Basketball doesn't matter. The "analysts" don't analyze anymore. They just hype. Sorry, hit a nerve.
