Great GDT @RetroWinnipeg, I read it first thing this morning when I woke up and have been humming the damn Size Small song all day long...

Yeah, tonight we play the Desert Dogs in the Mullett, and I'm still excited over last night's victory...

Until the Coyotes build a new arena (like that's actually going to happen), they are "temporarily" playing in the 5000 seat home of the ASU Sun Devils hockey team. I wonder what the Jets think of their locker room for the game? I can just see Connor Hellebuyck now checking out the room...

And Mark Scheifele critiquing the folding chairs...

And Pierre-Luc Dubois enjoying the pre-game meal that was provided...

giphy.gif

And Gary Bettman supporting the team until the bitter end...

Let's hope the Jets 2.0 can beat the Jets 1.0 and put them out of their misery....

I’ve got a bad feeling about this one. The Jets always play down to the competition and the coyotes have pulled off some wins this year against decent teams. Hopefully we see big save Dave and not first period choke Dave.

I sure hope the Jets' PK is in top form. They are going to get a workout tonight ... Bettman wants this to be a success story.

This arena in Arizona hosting NHL games reminds me of when Trump invited that college football winning team to the White House for "dinner" and fed them takeout from McDonalds

Honestly, when you consider the demographic coming for dinner (gigantic men who can now let down their diet and their training), I bet they'd sooner have a stack of fast food than some nine-course, 450 calorie meal where the food has names that even @kanadalainen couldn't translate.

Like I saw one picture from that dinner, there was some.. rather immane gentleman that woulda made Buff look like Emmanuel Lewis, walking around with six burgers cradled in one arm and another arm reaching for something else. I don't think he would have wanted three duck confit potstickers arranged in a semi-circle with six baby cranberries doing some sort of interpretive dance on his plate, yanno?

Wtf? Did he really do this?

He did; the White House cooks were currently on strike as the government was.. in that thing where they hadn't renewed the budget so they had no money to pay anyone? I think that was it. Anyways. The White House had no cooks, so that's the reception dinner.

And let's face it, when your White House cooks look like this, would YOU want to beg him to work for an IOU?

Let's see, Coyotes have the worst GP/GA in the league at 4.83. Veggiemite has a career SV% of .896%... looks like the odds are in our favour.

Veggiemite against the Jets in 3 games: 1.000%, .958% and .950%...well, shit.
