This team will be semi watchable when we make it to the playoffs for the first time since 2019 when I'm 90. Knowing my luck I'd lose my mind by that point

I've been critical of him, so have to acknowledge that Blackwood had a strong game. No easy goals, and he made several big saves.

We just need the league to add 12 terrible expansion teams by then. Which probably isn't too far fetched.

Thompson looked good after that first period. There were some struggles defensively but he got better as the game went along. I'd like to see him with Ferraro on the 2nd pairing. It's time to demote Rutta and let Benning back in and play him with Thrun if they insist on letting him play and not get some puck talent like Cagnoni.

Rutta and Kostin are at the top of my list to sit out the next game.
