With the lack of offensive ability I think this is the type of team you're gonna see until Lucic is replaced (which probably won't happen). They will be able to grind out wins and get hot and they will look completely lost. As we've seen if the Kings want to be a better team veterans like Greene need to sit in favor of younger, faster players. Losing McNabb and replacing him with Greene is a lose-lose, the Kings are a worse team. More minutes for Gilbert who has earned it but you just know Sutter will force feed Greene minutes he does not DESERVE much like King and it will hurt the Kings. With the Kings against the cap and the injuries the Kings should be a 50/50 mix of veterans and youth.

Hey guys, I have Quick in fantasy - he went down and it's killing me in net.
I can get by with Craig Anderson due to him being the only option in the Senators net. I have Niemi/Lehtonen.
Should I pick-up Budaj in the mean-time or are the Kings going to suck this season? The only other option is picking up Hutchinson/Hellebuyck combo or Jacob Markstrom.

Hey there, Clam. Isn't Anderson taking a little time off because his wife just got diagnosed with cancer?
Kings have Gaborik out still and just lost McNabb who was in a top 4 spot. Budaj has been playing great, but I'd be cautious about what's going to happen. We'll find out in a couple of hours!

I would stay away from Kings goalies not because of the Kings but because of the goalies.
The Kings have actually been playing really really well for the most part but though they keep shots down they still give up dangerous opportunities, and with less than NHL goaltending, you're gonna see low save percentages, though you should see some wins. Our goalies have been regularly below .875.

Kind of OT, but does anyone else here (especially TimeWarner Cable customers) experience frequent picture freeze/sound breakup on Fox Sports West? I only seem to have this problem on FSW, not other channels in my lineup, and it seems to happen most frequently during Kings games, which is really pissing me off. I'm wondering if it's just my equipment, or possibly a station problem.

Yah, I think if you're talking fantasy and Budaj is your 3rd or 4th goalie he's what you want. He's gonna give you numbers in a scarce position. If he's your 1 or 2 you're in trouble. I look for quality starts out of my backup goalies and Budaj has been great.

He is after last night.
He's historically be unable to shoulder a full season load without hovering .900, and prior to the last two games in which he's been fantastic, our goaltending platoon couldn't break .900.
I guess I'm just saying I wouldn't gamble on our goaltending being league average for thr3e months

Interesting, so I'm not the only one then. I've had this happen off and on over the last year or two, but this season almost every FSW game has been affected by this. I'm getting really fed up with this crap (the games are hard enough to take as it is, haha), so I'm going to have to complain to them about it. Thanks, RJ.
