Larsson doesn't have the right attitude to become a star. He sounds like a little girl.

I thought I read a while ago that the town he's from in Sweden is notorious for having a very calm culture, and that's why he can come across as "emotionless" in interviews. That's who he is, it's how he was raised, so I don't expect him to blast Deboer or the coaching staff for what's happening.

I feel so bad for him, he played really well last game, and wasn't that bad in his previous games, but he's still being sat over those two pieces of **** on the 3rd pairing. That must be so crushing, Deboer is ruining him. That alone is reason to be fired, he has so much potential but it's going to waste because our ****ing coach is too stubborn to sit a veteran who's past his time.

Does Larsson have arbitration rights next year? I really would not be shocked if he left the NHL just to get the **** away from piece of **** Dumbeor.

I really can't see him playing in Europe next year, but it wouldn't shock me. He really should ask to be traded at this point. We could probably get a nice 35 year old borderline wash up out of it.

Deboer isn't getting fired in at least a month or so, it's just not happening with all the roster changes this summer, he's getting the mandatory first month of competition so the team can mesh together.

Funny how the 'best 20' change from game to game depending on whims, since Larsson and Fayne get rotated with no rhyme or reason. Same with Marty and Cory as you point out.

Pete should be given less mercy than Ftorek, Julien, Robinson, Brooks, McVie, Schoenfeld, and the laundry list of other coaches that Lou struck the gavel down on.

Though it probably will take 10-12 games. I'd gladly accept a loss today if it means less losing for the rest of the year. We're not gonna be winning too much as long as Dumbo is around.

Fans at the game tonight should start a We Want Larsson chant (unless there's a sea of blue brah). If enough people do it, maybe it'll send a message to Lou and company that sitting him is ********, and it might give a little confidence to Larsson knowing the fans support him more than his coach. Who knows, if everyone does it we might be able to start voting on line-up decisions too

they don't really have time now for them to mesh anymore, maybe if the started with at least 2 wins but this is idiculous.

They are 0-7 and have 9 regulation/ot wins in the past 43 games, couple that with no first round pick. They need a quick fix and I'm sure DeBoer is not getting them a anywhere this season.

I protested the hiring on here to begin with. I was told ''But his roster in Florida sucked! He's a good coach! He's won this trophy and that trophy in Juniors! He had no talent in Florida but still almost dragged them to the playoffs!''. I was also told by somebody on here that you can't read into what he did in Florida because ''Booth became a vegetable'' and Bouwmeester left, and this and that.

I just forgot. We have a depleted lineup tonight. No Patty, no Clowe, no Brunner. I'm gonna take a wild guess and predict the game time decision is that Brunner does not play.

Last game might have bought Pete some time because all we had was a cardboard cutout in net last game. This game might too since we're playing shorthanded pretty much. The Rangers are too though, so I say it's UNACCEPTABLE to lose to them.

I'm all for a new coach...but not JL.....we need to be able to move foward without having to rely on a 70 yr old.

Thought we had that in Pete...but he's looking for like a product of Robinson and Oates more every minute.
