I'm "just a fan" and no analytic guy, but I think the drop-off is smaller than expected, based on the loss of talent. So Tourigny must be good.

Almost impossible to get a good read on Tourigny given the roster he's working with. The team is absolute dog shit, but that's the whole point.

The team is competitive with AHL goalies, injuries, and the worst roster this team has likely ever had. BA took away 3 starting goalies, a 1st line winger, a top 6 center, and three top 4 defenders from a team that finished 10th or whatever. Filled it in with throwaways.

It's amazing they're even this competitive. And they're still skating, even when down multiple goals. They clearly want to get a win for him. I expect a bit of a dogpile when it happens.

I have to agree with this, we have a possible #2/#3 line and 3 #4 lines. Worst lineup in the NHL and analytical, 5 on 5 we've not been terrible, so I'm assuming that goes to coaching. Our PK and PP have been dog shit, the PK is downright pathetic, but don't know how much of it has to do with the tremendous goal-tending we're receiving right now.

So I guess, too early to tell and don't know if we can tell this year given the crappy roster

So far I have no issues with AT.

At this time I like him more than RT (as low as that bar is).

RT took FOREVER to get that first W but I hated that time more than this right now because of how the team played. (Could just be my expectations though)

Team has less offensive talent but it feels like they get more O zone time than RT was getting out of more talent.

Players have more edge and fight. Could just be the mix of players but they aren't neutered like they were previously at least.

There are 15 teams worse than the Coyotes in terms of xGF% (share). So 5v5 they are surprisingly competitive, they just lack shooting talent and obviously goalies/special teams have been the downfall. They are still 4th best in xGA/60 5v5.

Chicago looks way worse
