Oiler fans going bat**** crazy. Kings have taken all the joy out of hockey thanks to Sutter.

If they don't come back, they are looking at 3-6. I guess a .333 percentage and flying up and down the rink is satisfying to Oiler fan, then.

Def. been that way all the way back to wooden sticks. Not sure where it might be in the rules.

Just found it.. Damn, I remember the second half of the rule, as it prevents tossing or sliding the goalie a stick and requires any replacement stick to be handed to the goalie.

Interestingly, the rule states he can play with a broken stick until legally handed one by a teammate... Would be interesting to see an astute ref in the situation where the stick was partially broken but still useable (say but end broken off) and a teammate TRIED to give him one but he preferred the broken goaltenders stick. Seems by the rules, if your being ridged that continuing playing with the broken stick once being offered a players would be illegal?
10.4 Broken Stick – Goalkeeper - A goalkeeper may continue to play with
a broken stick until a stoppage of play or until he has one legally
handed to him by a teammate. The teammate must hand the stick to
him. He cannot throw it or slide it to the goalkeeper (this includes
situations where the goalkeeper has lost his stick and a teammate is
trying to return it to him). For a violation of this rule, a minor penalty for
throwing the stick shall be assessed to the offending player (no
penalty to the goalkeeper for receiving the stick).

Also found this some what interesting:
There is to be no measurement of any of the dimensions of the
goalkeeper’s stick during the course of the game

Oilers fans complaining about their D.... Maybe they should have tried to get some dmen instead of forwards with all those first rounders. Crazy I know.

Well to be fair, this game is pretty boring even by Kings standards. Must be even more boring for Oilers fans considering they've been on the receiving end of a pretty vicious cycle game in the second period. But that's how the Kings have got to play these lightweight identity teams like the Oilers and Avs, make them play in their own end so their speed won't kill you.

Yep. Especially enjoy them crapping all over Klefbom.
