So Kings are tied for 29th (Pens) for goals scored this year at 13. Ducks are in last with 6. I ***** about this team not being in the top 50% of the league with this lineup, but come on. 29th Really?

Kings are behind Carolina, Calgary, Buffalo, Toronto in goals scored.

Let's keep in mind it's only been a handful of games so the 'total' is going to be skewed by the first three. 2 goals scored in the first three is bad; 11 in the last 4 is much much better. 2.75 GPG.

The line of Kopitar/Gaborik/Brown has one goal, on a nice pass by Brown, and Kopitar wasn't involved in the scoring. Kopitar has 1 goal at 3 on 3, 1 at 4 on 4, and nothing 5 on 5 or the PP. Tough to rack up the goals like that.

Brown is leading the team in shots and shooting 0%. That doesn't even count the ones where he misses the net.

-Jonathan Quick was the first goaltender off the ice and will be expected to start against Edmonton. Jordan Weal and Derek Forbort skated as extras in rushes and aren’t expected to be in tonight’s lineup. Tanner Pearson had taken a rush or two alongside Anze Kopitar and Dustin Brown, but original rushes indicated there will be no alignment changes from the previous two games.
