Don't like playing the Jackets. They're tenacious, which is good and fun, and the games are entertaining, but they're chippy and have guys that are complete douches. No more Dorsett thank goodness, but Boll and Hartnell are total chodes. Sticks everywhere. Punching a backup goalie on the bench? Really? I'd rather see Ryane Clowe every night of the season.

Again bummed for Foligno. Hope he's okay.

Also bummed for Kopi, I was thinking he already looked hurt before he left. Was very tentative, but then again, maybe he's just starting slow.

QUick still in godmode imo. First goal was a fantastic play and he STILL nearly had it, second was just a gorgeous, perfect shot through a complete screen.

Really wonder what happens if Kopitar is out. 2/3 of line one being out makes the 70s line our defacto top line, and if we can't get anyone else going, it's gonna be a rough road trip. Jordan Weal, come on down!
 
Strong game from the top Six. Dwight King continues to look good on any line you play him.

Justin Williams needs to get going, his possession figures are down to start the year.

Richards will get more top six time if Kopi is out, he needs to produce.

Defense looks real good if you ask me, Quick is locked in. That 70's line is just killing it.

@Rich_Hammond: Ran into Kopitar in hallway. He didn’t want to stop/talk but said, “I’ll be all right. Eventually.†Then grinned. Hmm, OK.

@Rich_Hammond: Sutter also said Kopitar was “all right.†Wouldn’t say whether Kopitar will fly with team tomorrow.

So tired of this stupid ********. We pay the bills, we should know what's wrong with these guys and at the very least, how long they're expected to be out.

Only way that can happen is if Lewis goes on LTIR right?

No Weal fits in under the emergency call up numbers cap wise. It would just take us not being able to dress a full team for one full game.
 
I really hope its not serious with Kopi.

That 70's line is looking really good. I know its too early to tell but if those boys keep it up they could each be looking @ 20 goal seasons, which would be awesome.

Quick continues to be based.

We don't know anything about Kopitar's injury. Sometimes it's just a game decision and they're back the next game. We'll worry about it later when they actually have to decide who is going on the trip.
 
@theroyalhalf: On Kings Talk, Nick Nickson said the goal by Mark Letestu was the 1st goal against That 70s Line for the season. 16 goals for, 1 against.

Carter's two way game is extremely underrated. Pearson is also strong in his end, (if he keeps his feet moving). Toffoli is really the only guy that cheats sometimes(offense).

During the game they announced "he was unlikely to return," not "will not return." So I'm thinking not serious, maybe misses a couple of games. We'll see.
