That old expression... "There it was, gone!" comes to mind, as does "Wait for it!...."First lead in 7 games.
Jesus Christ
And the lead is gone.
LOL
Does winning in OT not count as a lead?
Uhhh... Chychrun definitely passed it to him
Because you took the lead,I wouldn't think so.
The game is over by then
I don’t know but its trueCaught something on the radio that mentioned Jacques said Chabot needed to get stronger and play better defensively? Does anyone know the context behind why he said that?
Can't allow the first goal, can't allow a goal on the first two shots, can't allow a goal at the end of a period can't allow a goal after we score, anything else to add to our wish list? It'd be nice to not get scored on immediately after we score.
A new goaltending tandem who has a save % above .900?Can't allow the first goal, can't allow a goal on the first two shots, can't allow a goal at the end of a period can't allow a goal after we score, anything else to add to our wish list?
I suspect teams are getting a bit of a book on his tendencies in the cornerscome on Sanderson.
Very true. It could be Chabby's physical strength Jacques is (may be) commenting on, but it might also be intensity he has to get better at, as in battling much harder. It seems to me that when he engages he gives up on the battle way too easily. If he doesn't win it first try he backs right off. Chabot should be leveraging his strong skating ability more, like Sandy who creates time and space for himself. Chabby is caught standing still way too often. All kinds of talent there - just not using it particularly efficiently. My hope is a good (great!) coach can fix much of that with him.I don’t know but its true
They really have had trouble handling the puck today which has allowed Tbay to really pressure us all over the iceI hope they bobble more passes in the second.
Moved to Ottawa in the mid-90s and have followed the team since then. I have NEVER looked forward to the season being over like this year.
Yup... Brady directed a pass from behind the net right onto Pinto's stick. Great Pinto was wide open in a strong shooting position, but he bobbled the damned pass - zero shot. I'm not picking on some rare event here. All to frequent this year, the Sens lose o-zone presence because Pinto loses or mishandles a pass.Pinto had a really rough period
