I really don't get how Mckegg, a very typical and serviceable veteran 14th F, earns such strong opinions.
He does PK, takes FOs, plays all 3 spots, doesn't make horrible errors .
Does he stand out for really good play? not often.
But its a role, and the coach trusts him and i trust the coach

he's a vanilla nothing depth F. successful teams need that, too

He has a xGF% of 36.4 - only Morgan Barron was worse for us in that stat this season. Remarkably, he is underperforming that and has a 28 GF% (worst aside from Tinordi and Hajek).
