If we don't make the playoffs, it's down to MSL. Whatever system he came up with, it doesn't work. And he's stubborn as f***(playing Armia, Pezetta, not playing Jack). It's down to Hutson and Suz that we're there and determination. And if make the playoffs, I pull a Lou and fire him and hire someone else.

At his best, Slafkovsky is a f***ing menace out there. A dangerous power forward with an edge and a dangerous shot.

At his worst, he's an ineffective floating winger who's one of the least engaged players on the ice.

He needs to find that consistency. He's never going to be a player who drives his line, but he's far too often a passenger. And yes i'm aware he's still very young. But he needs to show he wants it more.
His best has basically been 10% of the games he played at this point.

Eller also had games where he was like this.

He undervalues that type of player. He accepts that skill guys will have alot of give aways because they try to make plays, but he wont accept that physical nasty guys are worth the dumb penalties they take. This is going to be a thing going forward.
The same physical nasty type of player that enabled MSL to survive as an undersized player in the NHL.

Detroit losing, will be eliminated tonight. The other three teams are playing tomorrow before us. I expect 1-2 of them to lose and also be out of the playoffs. Basically, winning or losing tonight and tomorrow does not matter.

I want us to finish below Ottawa. Washington is a good matchup for us, not Toronto.

Have a feeling that if the Habs do make the playoffs it's due to the other teams losing, not the Habs clinching themselves

At this point, the slow starts seem to be a strategy to get the opponent too comfortable because I don't get why it keeps happening

Toronto is the easiest matchup in sports
