Hughes needs to not bring in players like Pezzetta going forward. He hits but you can find players who hit but actually can play a somewhat regular shift.

I don't think Pezz has been anywhere near as bad as many people here say, but he's also a wasted space because he doesn't have the same fire he once did years ago when he was trying to crack into the league.

He's UFA this year. I don’t see Montreal signing him at all. I expect he ends up on waivers in October with whatever team signs him & he ends up a decent AHLer again.

Considering he was a 6th round pick, he's had a good run with the organization. He's 2 games away from 200 NHL games. I'm sure they'll make sure he gets that. 199 tonight. 200 probably tomorrow. That's really good.

As someone who wasn't around for the 93 cup win I'd have to say this is the 2nd most excited I've ever been as a Habs fan, only behind the Lehkonen goal that put us into the finals.

I'm more excited now than I was for the 2021 finals because 1. We got lucky bc of the weird Covid season so it kinda felt illegitimate, and 2. I really didn't see us beating TB. Our future looks bright
