probably but Carolina's 2nd round record rivals the Leafs 1sr round recordI disagree. I think Carolina eats us alive.

Ok, I am ready to talk lineups. According to RDS Heineman practiced with the regular squad.
The lineups looks like this
Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovsky
Laine-Newhook-Kapanen
Anderson-Dvorak-Gallagher
Pezzetta/Heineman-Evans-Armia
Roy
Guhle-Hutson
Matheson-Carrier
Struble-Savard
Xhekaj
Montembeault
Dobes
Guess Xhekaj sits again. Man, it's hard to like MSL. I try, I really really try, but this shit just gets to me.

I think you need to get your priorities straight. It’s year 3 of the rebuild and MSL has them in the playoffs! They’ve just rattled off 6 wins in a row for the second time this year and have a legit shot at moving up a spot. Disliking the guy for scratching a number 6 D seems kind of petty.
I do love Arber btw!
I disagree because they could legitimately still move up a spot if they keep winning. Plus, even if they win tonight, I think Columbus could still tie us and there’d be some kind of tie breaker (which I’m not sure who would win that).I doubt the Sens will bring their A game. Win this game in regulation and we get 3 games to rest some guys.
I’m not worried about the cup; I still hope they win it even during replays of streamed practices. Everywhere cups.personally I'd love habs to play the Leafs.
I'm not worried about winning a cup or a long run this year,
it's house money and the underdog status suits habs very well.
It would be great to put that kind of pressure on the leafs, and
frankly, watching them potentially choke vs us again makes me happier
than losing a series we have no business being in to begin with

Yeah we need to stop this sucking ass in the 1st trend we have going on. That doesn't work in the playoffs.I may skip the 1st period and start watching at the start of the 2nd![]()
18-6-0 is "solid"?
I call that a domination.
Probably due for a loss too and the Leafs was their hardest match-up.
Brady T has diaper rash, and is a game time decision. So someone mentioned above that Sens lineup is depleted? who's not playing? Are they resting players cause they clinched?
I want go through the Metro. Best outcome for tonight. An overtime win. We get two and Ottawa gets one. This would eliminate everbody except Columbus. Clb would have to go 4-0 RW, and us 0-3 with no points, to lose our playoff spot. If Ottawa gets a point, then we are not catching them I think. If we beat them clean in regulation time, there is a fair chance we pass them and play Toronto.Do we want to pass the Sens?
The idea of a Leafs/Habs series sounds like a lot of fun - but I actually wouldn't mind going through the Metro. I think Washington is a bit of a paper champion, and both Carolina and NJ also seem vulnerable this year.
In the Atlantic - I don't like Toronto. It's funny to always make fun of them - but I could actually see them go far this year. And Tampa too - could have one last great run. And although I don't think Florida will do well (not 3 years in a row), they are cup champions so can't under estimate them.
Hoping we win tonigh to clinch - but I still rather we go in as WC2. Maybe an OT win would be ideal.
If Habs win in regulation against the Sens today, they clinch a birth and Columbus is eliminated even if they win all their remaining games and ties the total point. The Habs own all the tie breaker in that case.I disagree because they could legitimately still move up a spot if they keep winning. Love perspective…It’s the Leafs. They’ll choke.
That being said I kinda want the Caps. Debating breaking the bank and making a trip for game 3&4 and I’ve never seen Ovie play before.
Brady T. haven't played since March 30th, and while he's a game-time decision apparently, I doubt he plays.IMHO, it’s a mistake not to dress Xhekaj when Brady Tkachuk is on the ice!!!! He runs around without fear of repercussions! MSL needs to understand some players game is intimidation. The QMJHL approach to physicality is a losers mentality in the NHL!
What time do they practice this morning???????For whatever it's worth, Stu Cowan posted the official rosters for tonight's game, Demidov is listed for the Habs.

Why would you if you were Arbs? They sit you after a bad play, then want you to come back just to chuck fists? Talk about being used. Meanwhile Savard and MM just play like garbage with full immunity. The old boys club is alive and well in MontrealHe was in the lineup when Forsberg/Hutson happened I think they expected him to do something. Pezz had a fight with Englund.
I thought Tkachuk not playing until at least the playoffs. For whatever it's worth, Stu Cowan posted the official rosters for tonight's game, Demidov is listed for the Habs.
