Did they get rid of the salary cap? :sarcasm:

There's more to $ in the NHL than the Cap.... Revenue to the team has nothing to do with the team spending on players.... The NYR's are worth billions in assets and revenue.... 5 million buying stuff compared to 50,000 is a difference... :)

That must be why Toronto wins the Cup every year. :sarcasm::laugh:

Well at least the Jackets finish over regulation .500 for the 3rd straight season. That's pretty cool I guess. This game didn't mean ****, so I suppose we can take the guaranteed winning record and feel somewhat decent...

Path to SC Final last season:
Beat Ray Emery in first 2 games
Beat chokers
Beat Dustin Tokarski
Got spanked by LA

They've overrated as ****

Jackets will finish top 3 in East next season. Typical CBJ bad luck tonight

Teams that get to SC finals and lose close games and then follow up by probably winning the President's Cup are not overrated.

They're no better than the Pens or Canucks.

If they were opposed by Mason rather than Emery, very decent chance they would have got eliminated in the 1st round ( and regardless, the series went 7 games, fwiw ).
And VERY little doubt in my mind the Rags get by Price.

Great game, you guys - that's a hell of a team you're building.

Here's to CLB making it through next year with a lot fewer injuries - would love to see these two teams meet in a PO series.

No thanks.

CLB is a top-4 team next season. Still love Dubi.

Clinching the Presidents Trophy tomorrow in NJ will just be the cherry on top of a terrific regular season.

Really like Calvert as a skilled, high energy 4th liner. Best forechecker on the team other than dubi.

I said the same thing. Teams that celly like this always get wrecked by teams who can control their emotions. We'll get them next year.

Honestly, aside from our announcer going nuts. The celebration was pretty ordinary. Especially for an OT win.

Despite the loss, I was very happy with the team. That was almost playoff hockey right there. Hilarious that all 3 stars are Rags.

Franchise best 9 game win streak is over

Melt down has started

FIRE RICHARDS. This D couldn't hold the jock of anyone from an AHL team.

Trade Boll for a seventh!! We need to trade some conditional late round picks for top six wingers to round out our fourth line!

Did I miss anything?

Nope you have goofy ass hyperbole down. You had to ruin a pretty good GTD with this garbage didn't you?

Looking forward to seeing what we do at the draft and FA. We've got a lot of good young talent that was on display.

It's cool; it isn't that I take offense - they are entitled to their celebration. It just seemed excessive for a team that has won 51 games this year, that's all.

You guys have a heck of a good team. Definitely one of the toughest teams in the league to play against. I hope your team stays healthy next season... they'll make some serious noise if they do. Cheers
