They gave 2 games against isle? Its a hill to climb i agree. Got to go 3-1 and rags 1-3.
Too many of these dang games go to overtime, so it's hard to make up ground.

Anyway, my day is ruined.

We share a campus with the elementary school downstairs.

I was waiting for the elevator and the kindergarten class was lining up for lunch when one of them looked at me and said "Hey, old man."

I could see if it was @Gee Wally, but I'm not even 40.

Not sure he knows what he wants. If he wants to be a Bruin will depend on the deals out there for him in FA. If it's more or even money, I'll bet he ends up in Western Canada but who knows, my crystal ball is out getting polished.
Going to be a fine Oiler. I'll take Dakota Joshua to replace him. Give up speed and some offense for a more physical and consistent player.

No morning skate? I could have sworn that they were scheduled to skate at 11am today.

EDIT:
They did skate earlier. I guess no one from the media was in attendance?

I hope Danton H. wins the 7th player.

Just play well and don't get hurt.

Hey Steve, I hope the Bruins win tonight.

It was hard to tell what he injured from the replay

..regardless, it's somewhat encouraging that he's skating

I mean if he is skating then it’s a 100% upper body and most likely a popped shoulder by the way he reacted and talked to the trainer. That was look like we got to go pop that back in. I could be wrong but that’s my guess initial reaction as it hurts like a mother, so getting the trainer to pop it back into place is an immediate relief.

I thought it was his wrist but don't know for sure

You're probably right about a shoulder dislocation

I popped my right shoulder out of place over 30 years ago and had to be driven to the emergency to get it popped back in

It was out of place for almost two hours before a doctor finally came to pop it back in, and was super painful until it got popped back in place. I was in a sling for a couple weeks before I could even use it again, and any full contact sports activity was out of the question for a couple of months because of the length of time it was out.

The doctor told me the longer it was out of place, the longer it will take to heal, so it's hard to say how long Brazeau will be out of action

I have been watching Dakota Johnson all season and have thought also that he would make an awesome Bruin. Not giving up that much offence on the DeBrusk when you look at it. In much less ice time and less games almost identical stats this season. I think his upside is worth taking a look at.

Was it all the way out, or a partial dislocation? I lost count of how many times I wrecked my left shoulder, but from what I remember it was 100x worse going out and coming back in than when it just sat there dislocated. Now, on the partials, total misery. There was no healing for me. The bones in the shoulder are all chipped away and everything around it was torn. I'm held together now with screws and a bone graft.

I remember too, watching my father in a hospital bed with a dislocated shoulder. He was in pain, but ok enough. As soon as anybody touched his arm he writhed in pain. They ended up knocking him out to put it back in.

Shoulders are wildly complex. Hopefully Brazeau gets patched up quick and is able to put this injury behind him. Same for Poitras. The mental game with your own body after this sort of thing is really rough too.
