IMHO this was a lost cause of a season with Lalonde starting it as head coach.

Yzerman should've sent him packing this past summer...Might've had a better chance of finishing 7th, or 8th with a new voice at the start of the season.

The season was done when we decided to have Justin Holl play 70 games. How can one player be so bad both offensively and defensively and still play that much NHL hockey is beyond me. Even more confusing is how Yzerman thought that was a signing we needed to make.

Will we actually see some of the kids get a chance these remaining games?

Agreed...Holl is 1 of a handful of moves/signings that leaves me scratching my head.

Nope. They could have played the entire season in GR without burning a year. Just like Kasper last year.

Oh, the Panthers were breaking into our zone on a two on one. Ras is a half stride behind the second guy and you're thinking "oh, there's going to be all sorts stumbling, clutching and getting in each other's way and it's going to look kind of innocent but the refs are going to be tuned in for any kind of interference so Ras had better make it look good or maybe skate harder to try to make up ground but he has to try something otherwise it's a clear and easy 2 on 1"

And then he takes one hand off his stick and just grabs the guy. Just so obvious. The ref, of course, calls it and Ras gives him the "are you kidding me?!" schtick.

It would be truly hilarious if after all of this disappointment and constant shit-talk from every other fanbase to end the season, we go 4-0 and Montreal goes 0-4 and we make the playoffs.

It's obviously not happening, but it would be very funny, that's for sure.

Dude at this point, and the level of suck we’re seeing from our guys I don’t want them in the playoffs. They don’t deserve it.
