Daccord starts. Just...why?

Winterton was up for 5 minutes again, played about 5 minutes, and has already been sent back down.

Back-to-back. I think that's why. But who the f*** knows. Not me for sure.

At this point, I have just started to convince myself that there is no that much difference in picks between the 5-9 range so we will end up with a good prospect. I would really love to win the lottery though and jump from 7-8 to 1 .. :D

Please send Daccord to the Barbados or something. He has done his bit. Let him sit on a beach somewhere the rest of the way.

Has to be management are desperate to sell the team as unlucky to miss the playoffs this year. Blowing chances to grow talent is stupid and so is blowing chances with the lottery for no real reason. Burning your only goalie out is stupid. Bylsma seems very desperate for wins, which makes sense if he's to survive the culling this summer (last chance saloon for him at this level for sure), and it's nice for the players to pad their stats for the season a bit, but for the org's success long term it means nothing. That's all I got. Very weird situation.

I can't really blame Bylsma all that much. As a coach, his job is trying to win and keep his job safe as a result. The order needs to come from Francis telling Bylsma to shut Daccord down for the rest of the season instead of burning him out. Also, calling up more prospects is another thing that is upto Francis. I get that they are trying to ready themselves for the CV playoffs but this just seems like some very questionable decision making to me.

Would winning a few meaningfless games at the end of the season make ownership feel better about this season? I don't think it would or should. Even worse if Daccord gets injured due to being overplayed.

Exactly. The focus has to be on this management team most of all. What management do this summer will be very telling. Another weak or weird summer and it's clear they are flailing. The feeling that they are mediocre must be squished completely.

Daccord gives the Kraken a chance at a three game win streak, which, if it happens, will be talked up by the Kraken social media team like it actually matters.
This front office never ceases to piss me off. It’s over. Rest your number one goalie. Play the kids. Try SOMETHING new on special teams. Stop trying to con the casual fans and build an effing culture.

Especially if you roll out your 30 something multimillionaires to pad their stats... Full season tanks are of the devil for sure.

"The season didn't go as planned but the last few games showed us what we expected from this group and expect to see that a lot more next season. Dan has done a great job keeping this group together despite the struggles as you can see with the effort they put towards the end of the season."

I put a laughing face emoji but that's 100% what I expect to hear from Francis at seasons end.

Both of my crappy teams are winning meaningless games down the stretch and it's pretty frustrating.
I agree that Joey should have been sent away on vacation.

I know folks don’t want Joey playing but I disagree if Gru is the benefactor of that.

You want to bring up the kid goalies and start them, fine.

Gru starting is meaningless and undeserved. .
