Problem with the hits record is that hits weren't recorder prior to 2005. You can guarantee that Gordie is the actual all-time leader, as he surely also is in shots on goal.

Feel like this is always the case. When we lay the body and pick up the physical play the team gets engaged and it leads to goals. Never understand why we don't always play heavy.
