I posit that it's simply because we suck generally. Is there a reason we always suck in the 1st?

Pezzetta is going to have to tie this thing up.
Struble's just a better player. Nothing more.
Maybe partly, but note that the wings didn't stop moving their feet. Habs just stood there watching the play for most of it.
That's fine, as long as he ties the game for us.Dont think he could tie his laces

Struble is a better player, plays physical, hit. What xhekaj ‘’brings’’ isn’t much more.Maybe but Struble is just there. Jack bring another element to the line-up that is needed. It's like we know that Pitlick is better than Deslaurier but all NHL gms would take Deslaurier in their line-up over Pitlick.
IF we make the playoffs. We're really going to get to watch Demidov play for a game or two before the playoffs..
Apparently Metheson played 32 minutes versus Nashville... that stat made me sickAlso for a new coach, MSL is very dinosaur in his approach on playing guys cause of what they did in the past. Armia and Savard should not play. And Matheson the least shifts possible.
I've seen Struble hit some players hard in the tough areas in the past few games. You making him seem like a vanilla non physical player is ridiculous. When is the last time Xhekaj hit someone hard? He can't skate. His physical presence is greatly hindered by that outside of fights and scrums where everyone is standing still.Maybe but Struble is just there. Definitely. Wings deserve the lead because they've been the better team by far.
But the puck luck isn't even a question of moving their feet. They were random spots where they just swung their sticks at random and the puck goes right to a teammate. That other teammate wasn't even moving. The puck just went to their stick.
