With hindsight, they obviously should have matched Holloway's offer. But I guess they were burned before with underperforming contracts and did not want to take a chance.Goes both ways. I don’t disagree with you but oilers prioritized signing their UFA’s first (which makes sense) but then had no money left over, even that extra mill to give Holloway. In hindsight at least one of them should have been matched but we took the petty route and replaced them with Emberson and Podz which well….
