Yup. Playing short because of injuries only makes the roster players susceptible to more injuries. Makes sense why Wpg, Tor, Cal, Van etc all have their AHL in the same locale.

The fact we don’t is a major and unnecessary failure, especially considering our purse strings.

Given this organization’s history and the fact that Knob said literally this morning that they were maybe a week away, hard to feel like they’re not rushing Mcdavid back.

Nope. No money on this game and I was going to watch regardless, so Davo playing or not doesnt effect me in the slightest. Fortunately, I have the ability to empathize with others who that might not be the case for.

Also, I just can't imagine throwing other fans under the bus to sympathize with an organization that is as much a clownshow as this one.

It’s not too difficult to put 2 and 2 together though. Ekholm returns from injury and then aggravates injury. Ditto with Draisaitl and Frederic. Fans have a right to be concerned that the same thing might happen with McDavid.

Do we know if they really aggravated their injuries, or just that they tried playing and didn't feel fully better. Like Frederic for instance, wasn't he back on IR because he was having ankle swelling from the extra playing stress? It's possible that their game time just was a last test for their injury
