I said that at the end of the period. The opposite should be the case but that’s NHL reffing for you
NHL is reffing based on "the code" (whatever interpretation that may be) instead of the rule book (that they constantly ignore so well and completely change for the the playoffs). What other league adapts rules based on previous penalties or time of game?

I'm fully on board team tank at this stage but I wouldn't mind ending the Caps playoff hopes.

Complete joke they have found themselves in the playoff race. Their goal differential is significantly worse than ours. No idea how they have managed to win 36 games.

Why? The power play opened up 3 shots for him. He whiffed in one korpisalo saved two.
He got those shots because they didn't stand a defender in front if him, not because they did... Not suggesting you can or should do that on a 5-3.

Them and Flyers is mind blowing to me

I was at the home opener and I really expected different directions for both teams

Then again Id rather anyone before the Red Wings

These old habits of letting a goal in in the last two minutes of a period need to stop. Martin needs to smack them around.

That rebound by Korpi lmfao

That’s the second time this year our goalie has blockered a puck back in to the slot. Forsberg once and now Korpi. Something for the goalie coach to work on

That’s easily his funniest goal of the year. He slides himself out of the net and blockers the puck BACK ACROSS the net to where he is no longer tending the net lol

Seems like the shot was going wide too...

Not really how you deflect a shot with your blocker... I have to admit our goalies have not been at the level necessary this season. Before I would say our team defense really didn't help them but no more excuses for our goalies.

Regarding Forsberg, it's unfortunate but he's just not the same goalie as before the injuries

Korpisalo is one of the worst goalies i’ve seen at tracking the puck. The puck hits him and he’s always looking around trying to find it

This team has had some brutal goalies over the years. Korpisalo might just take the cake though.

At least Gerber had a cool mask.
