If Primeau had Dobes' game he'd already be this teams number 1.

Points wise it hasn't come, but I think chances are coming and his effort level/defensive play is much improved. He's still developing and I'm happy he's here.

He has chances because he skates fast but man is he dumb with the puck? He was involved in two 2 on 1 in the last 10 games one with Laine and one with Suzuki and it was painful to watch. The one with Laine he received a great pass from Laine right on the tape and instead of one timing it he took his time and ended up not knowing what to do with the puck and doing a muffin shot in the goalie's logo. The one with Suzuki he again received a great pass by Suzuki on the tape and tried to return it to Suzuki instead of shooting while the dman was already laying down on the ice. He obviously could not get it pass the dman and there was no shot.

it's crazy how some fans can't recognize the quality of chances he's creating.

The finish isn't there. On him to figure that out, but he's doing a heck of a job creating high danger opportunities while being reliable defensively.

He's got a lot of upside and even if he never translates it, he's a quality middle 6 option for is going forward
