Looks like David Savard did not travel with the team, just saw him in town at a family activity (I see him once in a while, didn’t expect to see him today).

Eklund DavePeak E5 :sarcasm:
Demidov currently in the trunk of a Lada Vesta crossing at the Vartius Border Crossing.

Several more hours by car to Helsinki, but should be in Montreal by early Tuesday morning.

One of the best 1st lines in the league, I assume one of the best 3rd lines in the league, an elite defenceman, and solid goaltending. I can see why it’s enough to squeeze in.
It's been the best 1st line in the NHL since the 4 Nations.

Not a must win like @MarkovsKnee mentioned. Not sure of their record in b2b this year. But Nashville is full of vets and is rested. I expect a loss. If they win, it will essentially put their first feet in the playoff door.

The important one is Tuesday. If Detroit and Columbus lose today, it’ll make it less harrowing the rest of the way. Florida is resting players for the playoffs (injured players, they call it). Not expecting much against a very desperate Detroit team.
Florida beating Detroit would be a pleasant surprise but yeah I don't expect it. The team has key injuries and is on a slump..plus they played yesterday and the Wings didn't.

Watched Nashville-Leafs two weeks ago. Leafs stormed them in the first period and were up 2-0. Could have been 3-0 except for a goal called back on a high stick. From there though Nashville was impressive scoring 5 in a row to win 5-2. They don`t usually score much but Forsberg is still a great player and Stamkos is there.

Don`t know if Marchessault is injured? Mike McCarron impressed me, he`s come a long way. He gets his 6`6 frame down low on faceoffs and is very good. Justin Barron is still trying to find his way. Wouldn`t be surprised to see them give the Habs a good game.
Nash has not played since Thursday I think. Trap game.

I hope we see the continued development of our d. They're hard to play against and I hope we continue to limit chances and out play teams in the neutral zone and our defensive zone.

Guhle, Hutson, and Matheson on their own pairing is great. I would love to see Savard get some rest and see:

Struble Hutson
Guhle Xhekaj/Savard
Matheson Carrier

Go habs Go!!

Wouldn't shock me if they start Monty tonight. I think they are terrified of Dobes letting in softies vs free win opponents.

The only thing that could be better than a Sens win, is that they win but Olivier catches Stutzle mid air in a dive attempt and and proceeds to beat the snot out of him :naughty:
It would be nice to see Florida beat Detroit. It would maybe make Tuesday's match up less important

Gotta spot monty a rest somewhere. This was a tough turnaround to go from Quebec to Tennessee (plus customs). Have him ready for Detroit who will presumably look at this as their last chance to make a run.

I say rest him today, and then run him until the games don't matter anymore.

He's already trending towards prime Carey Price territory in terms of games played.
