.. Certainly one of the highest xG's I've seen.

lol my god man any team would be struggling with this amount of injuries to key players.
Evan Bouchard would be the leading scorer on their team BY FAR and Hyman has 6 more goals than anyone on their roster.

When will the injuries excuses end? I get we are hurt but we are playing a poverty f***ing team and our team looks so disorganized and in-cohesive

They should just select all goalies in the next draft.

Even then, they'll all turn out to be duds. It's the Oilers way.

I honestly am not even upset. Team showed the resolve to stay in it and dominated the 3rd. All the guys who matter are mostly playing well.

Nuge, Henrique, Arvidsson, Skinner, Walman, Nurse all playing well. Bouchard and Kulak are struggling. Janmark and Brown are iffy but those guys shouldn’t be shoe ins this year. Podkolzin has been pretty good.

The games are meaningless now I’m not very concerned with results just looking for the right things from the right guys going into the playoffs.

Excuses. This organization has failed to build a competitive team around their superstars
How can this not be the right answer? So freaking obvious. Without McDrai we have a ton of forwards who are absolutely hopeless finishing anything. Basically all our chances tonight and our goal came from the D.

Ducks have to be the worst ownzone club I've ever seen and not one single pathetic Oiler forward punished them. Not through 60mins.

jesus christ the turd polishing here. "played well" That includes finishing anything basically ever. This is the single worst defensive performance I've seen from an opponent all year. Most of the time it looks like the Ducks are TRYING to lose and give up 5 bell chances.

But here come the Edmonton Pellet Guns forwards all emulating Charlie Brown now.

The forwards on this club this season other than McDrai have been an effing disgrace.

With Kane out, the toughest player on the roster all season has been Cory Perry.

A new coach won't turn a bunch of passive wimps into tough guys
Podkolzin and Nurse could've handed anyone on their team pretty easily.

Pretty sure Podkolzin got a stern talking to after knocking out Lauzon earlier this year.

Sorry but Gudas would destroy anybody on this club. Nobody wanted to dance with him. Telecast even jk "hey Nurse nows your chance, 2ft away" No Oiler was interested.

You're joking right?

Nurse and Podkolzin both asked him to go, and he turned them down.

100%. All the management had to do was build an AVERAGE team around McDavid and Draisaitl. f***, they lucked into the hardest piece to get- a first line centre- and they got 2- who happen to be generational- and they can’t support them at all.
