Yeah they seem to just Oiler it at all times. Sometimes they’ll want to destroy you. Sometimes they want to sleep. Who knows who we see come Game 1.

Honestly, he was mostly fired due to unfathomably awful goaltending. Pretty much every other indicator looked good, aside from PDO.

His loyalty to skinner cost us the Vegas series. If he does what knob did vs the Canucks last year we win that series and maybe the cup.

I dont think so. He kept an eye on the future and development. He was the best AHL coach weve had in a long time, and he kept it up in the big league. He created solutions to problems that our GM just wouldnt solve with personnel upgrades. I respect that.

He will have success wherever he goes next.

They said they have stats not available to the public on Skinner. They also said they didn’t believe there was an upgrade available. Skinner is 79th in Goals saved above expected. He has given up the most rush goal of any goalie. He has the 2nd worst save % in NHL against the rush which Steve Valiquette in Clear Sight Analytics and goalie guru called “non nhl
Calibre”

Indeed, but Woodcroft was a better offensive coach. Knob has (mostly) been a better defensive coach, but that hasn't really been showing lately.
