Ridiculous take is ridiculous. Do you even have a clue how often the play goes through Bouchard? Remember before Bouchard when Klefbom and Larsson would play catch for hours because no one could outlet the puck?

Bouchard handles the puck more than any other d man in the league. Only 11% of his possessions are giveaways- 6th best in the league. He is about middle of the pack among d men whose giveaways result in goals against (largely cos Stuart sucks). I can go on about HDCF%, Shots for, successful zone exits, etc but it’ll fall on deaf ears

He makes terrible mistakes every game, stuff that spreadsheets don't show.

I don't know how anybody can defend this player this season.
